Bio
Slaying the Shadows was born in 2007. Before the band was "Outbreak" from 2002-2007 until they were informed of a band that had already taken on the name, hence Slaying the Shadows was born!
Slaying the Shadows does what alot of other bands won't do, they Can go from screaming an energetic song, to a lullish acoustic, to a southern homestead feel, back to ripping your face off.
Their Christian faith is the driving force, the guys of S.T.S. always are telling fans about God, and how if it wasn't for Him, they wouldn't even be here. Their musics message, and every breath they take, they dedicate to the Lord.
Slaying the Shadows is a Christian Metal/Experimental band that strives to show our love of God in our lyrics. Some of our influences are Haste The Day, The Devil Wears Prada, Memphis May Fire, As I Lay Dying, August Burns Red, Demon Hunter, and many more.
Slaying the Shadows is in the process of recording their acoustic ep called "Undone" through Abandoned Ship Records. Songs will be posted on the S.T.S. Facebook page, on Youtube, and on here as soon as "Undone" is finished with all the recording. So stay posted and check out the music.
